A BIT ABOUT ME
I am an early career researcher, interested in the effects of anthropogenic pollutants in freshwater environments. I use multiple lines of evidence to investigate these impacts, including analysis of pre-existing literature, and lab and field experiments. I am currently a PhD Candidate in the Rochman Lab at the University of Toronto.

I grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I spent my childhood swimming in the cold waters of Lake Superior, and camping and hiking in the surrounding boreal ecosystem. My connection with nature as a child has driven my passion for the environment.

I completed a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and Conservation at the University of Guelph in 2017. During my undergrad, I worked in the Fryxell Lab in the Limnotron facility on projects that investigated the effects of climate change scenarios on the size structure of Daphnia populations and food-web dynamics. Upon completion of my degree, I started a PhD at the University of Toronto in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, and Parks.
